Matthew Sneade, InfoCash Corporate Account Manager said, 'This is a prestigious win for InfoCash and we’re extremely excited to be a part of The Hippodrome project. It’s a unique venue and is set to be a major London attraction and West End landmark.' Matthew King, Chief Operating Officer of The Hippodrome Casino Ltd said, 'We are very pleased to have InfoCash as our ATM partner at The Hippodrome. Our decision to select them is based on a number of factors, not just the considerable experience they already have providing services to the gaming market. Our business will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so high quality and robust reliability are vital considerations. InfoCash’s offering is based on Triton technology and with over 200,000 cash machines in place around the globe, we feel we’re in good company. In addition, we were extremely impressed with InfoCash’s commitment to customer care and the high level of support they will provide to ensure casino customers will always be able to gain access to their funds.'
Built in 1900, The Hippodrome is a Grade II listed building and has an illustrious past. Work to restore the building to its original glory and transform it into an international style casino began in July 2009 and is due to be completed during 2012.

InfoCash industry first; extranet allows clients to monitor ATM performance in real-time |
open/close » |
02 December 2011
InfoCashTM has announced it is to launch an extranet service which will allow all of its clients to monitor and analyse the performance of their cash machines remotely. Currently in final trials, the new service will be available to InfoCashTM clients early in January 2012, giving them detailed, real-time data on their ATM.
InfoCashTM will be the first UK ATM supplier to make such a resource available.
'The extranet will be a valuable new business tool for all our clients' said David Collings, Sales Director at InfoCashTM, 'An ATM is an important part of sales and marketing activity so being able to access how machines are performing at any time and from anywhere provides crucial information that can be used to inform business decisions. There are many variables in how an ATM can be deployed and used to add value to a business – the extranet will give complete transparency helping business owners understand how their ATM influences customer behaviour'.
InfoCashTM clients using the extranet will simply need an internet connection to enable them to check data from any location in the world. The live information can be interrogated by any criteria and reports can be printed locally. Completely secure and with hierarchical user access-levels, the system will be available to all InfoCashTM clients requesting the service, from independents with just one ATM through to multiple users with machines spread across hundreds of locations.
Matthew Thomas CTO said, 'This represents a major technological innovation and we are proud to lead the way for our industry. Successful businesses are driven by information and the extranet puts this information at our client's fingertips, instantly giving them complete clarity on their ATM. It means they have the ability to interpret data at any level, to compare sites side-by-side, to measure return on investment and to ensure they use their ATMs to maintain a competitive advantage'.
InfoCashTM will be contacting all of its clients in 2012 to offer them the option of taking up the extranet facility, but in the meanwhile is urging any clients keen to adopt the service early, to get in touch and express their interest.
InfoCash steps in to take over ex-Lloyds TSB ATMs for Kent Service Group |
open/close » |
30 November 2011
ATM deployer InfoCashTM has installed new ‘through-the-wall' cash machines at service station forecourts belonging to the Kent Services Group. The Texaco branded sites were previously managed by Lloyds TSB. InfoCash stepped in to work with the group after Lloyds gave notice that the bank's new policy on ATMs meant they would no longer be able to continue supporting the units at Blindley Heath and Langton Green in Kent.
Jatin Gandhi (Director) of Kent Service Group said, 'In March this year, Lloyds TSB advised us that they would no longer be managing the cash machines on our service station forecourts. This was very disappointing and presented a potential commercial issue for us - the machines are extremely popular with customers using our forecourts and our Spar convenience stores. They help bring traffic to our sites and are an important revenue stream for the business too'. He continued, 'We were approached by InfoCashTM and were impressed by their credentials in the ATM sector and with the managed service they offered us. They worked with us to ensure a seamless transfer as they installed new machines so that our customers experienced minimal disruption to their regular service. Our new machines are working well and we have a high volume of transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week'.
David Collings, Sales Director at InfoCashTM said, 'We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Kent Service Group and help them ensure continuity of service for their customers. When the high street banks decide to pull out from sites like these it can cause a real inconvenience for the general public as well as for the businesses concerned. For many retailers a cash machine is an important marketing tool as well as a revenue driver. On a positive note however, it presents a great opportunity for us to extend our own ATM estate'.
'We look forward to working with Kent Service Group and adding real value to their business; they will benefit from the high level of customer service that we deliver as standard, from our proactive maintenance programme - and users of their new ATMs will experience significantly improved transaction times'.

29 November 2011
InfoCash has secured a deal with HSBC to assign ATM's for 120 members of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents (NFRN). The free-to-use cash machines are based in newsagent businesses right across the UK and the Abingdon-based company will take over responsibility for their management with effect from 20th December.
'This is a great opportunity for us' said David Collings, Sales Director at InfoCash.
'We are already working with a large number of independent newsagents and convenience stores, so these NFRN members fit perfectly into our existing estate.
We understand the high expectations that business owners in this sector have of their ATM partner. With a national team of field engineers and a programme of proactive maintenance, we will deliver an improved level of customer service and support, ensuring maximum ATM uptime for our new clients'.
He continued, 'The transition to InfoCash management will be seamless and NFRN business owners will not experience any interruption to the service their ATM provides.
InfoCash ATM installed at the Royal Mint |
open/close » |
18 November 2011
InfoCash, the UK’s third largest provider of ATMs is celebrating one of its most unusual contracts; the Oxfordshire-based business has recently been appointed to install a cash machine at the headquarters of the Royal Mint.
The Royal Mint employs more than 700 people at its base in Llantrisant, South Wales and is responsible for making and distributing coinage for the United Kingdom as well as supplying coins and medals to some 60 countries around the world.
The free to use unit is located in the reception area where it has been positioned for the convenience of Royal Mint employees. It is particularly useful for staff requiring funds to load onto a catering card enabling them to make purchases at the staff restaurant which, for security reasons, operates using pre-paid catering cards only.
A Royal Mint spokesperson said, 'The cash machine has been in place now for about 3 months and usage is very high. It is human nature that sometimes staff will forget to bring cash with them to work to top up their catering card. Before we installed the ATM, staff would have to travel some distance off-site to a local supermarket to get access to their cash. This would be an inconvenience for staff and it also meant that our restaurant would miss out on business'. He went on, 'Having the cash machine benefits our staff and helps us with the unusual restrictions we have to overcome here at the Royal Mint'.
David Collings, Sales Director at InfoCash said, 'Of course, we have thousands of cash machines installed all around the UK but this is rather special and we’re very proud to be able to say that there is an InfoCash ATM at the Royal Mint!'
InfoCash ATMs cut transaction time to 28 seconds |
open/close » |
03 November 2011
UK cash machine supplier, InfoCash says the average transaction time for customers using its latest generation of ATMs will be around 28 seconds. It's an improvement of more than 15 seconds on the previous average and means that using an InfoCash machine at a location such as a pub or a convenience store will give access to cash at the same speed as an ATM at a high street bank.
Transaction processing time has been significantly improved by an upgrade to the Triton operating system and the latest software will now feature as standard in all InfoCash ‘X2' generation, free-standing and through-the-wall ATM models.
David Collings, InfoCash Director of Sales said,'We operate in a customer-driven market; users want and expect quick and easy access to their money and this new software reduces transaction times dramatically. With connectivity as fast as broadband, it doesn't matter where an ATM is located, cash will be dispensed at the same speed as a bank ATM. Better performance gives users an enhanced experience and will reduce queuing at busy locations'.
He continued, 'All venues installing a new InfoCash ATM will enjoy the benefits of this improvement and what's more, it requires no changes to telephony or the on-site infrastructure'.
